Why men can fool their wives hehehe

Well I started my job last Saturday, it's a lot to pick up on, but I will get it soon. There are some things about it that frustrate me, like one you can never really find a manager around, your not sure who your supervisor is, they don't schedule a lunch for you, you just have to take it when you find coverage, and three they are taking forever to get me my employee ID so I'm hoping the hours I spent training shows up on my first check. It's frustrating, I have a feeling they are gonna put me up at Customer Service, they put everyone else at the cash registers but me, I hate customer service, but hey that's what I get for having Supervisor experience in retail. It's good money until I get a Dental Assisting job. Bren has been doing good, he has been continuing his training for his job. Yesterday we needed to cash a check and we couldn't cash it anywhere so we decided to open a savings account with Eglin Credit Union it's only 5 dollars to open a savings account so we though we mind as well while we were there. Brennan's Airman friends mastermind a stupid plan that back fired on them. They said that it's Military Appreciation week and that they get free pizza, so they told Me and Katie (one of the airman's wife) to stay home while they got get pizza and bring it back, which made no sense to me cause I could have sworn I heard one of them say it was for Military and Family. So we called the pizza place when they left and found out it's a pizza buffet and bar. So while they were having fun eating pizza and drinking beer, I had to stay with Katie and her one year old child who is cranky and crying cause his is teething! We were so made at the guys!! So we went to Wendy's and had no problem ordering us whatever we wanted, and BOY WAS I HUNGRY. Bren claims he didn't know, he though it was a pizza joint for family too. Brennan knows I have a good way of putting things together and finding out the truth, but I believe Bren, he is always asking his guy friends if I can come along. Bren's two friends thought we wouldn't know what they were doing but we caught them 2 minutes after they left hahaha! Never underestimate a girl, especially if she's your wife! Oh and funny thing, it really made me crack up laughing, we called the guys told them that we were heading to Wendys and they said that was fine, so when they came home last night THEY BROUGH US A SLICE OF PIZZA! hahah like that was gonna make it better, we told them we were going to get something to eat. I couldn't be mad, this was just to funny of a story to get mad at them at. I told the guys if they wanted a guy night to just tell me, I wouldn't care, but I guess they didn't cause Katie would have been mad. I'm not her! Brennan said that next time he is bringing me, cause I'm fun to hang around, I know how to act like one of the guys. Well when you grow up with five brothers what else do you expect. We went to beach last Friday, pretty huh!? It's better to go towards the end of the day, it's cool, the water is warm, PERFECTION!

I got a new job!

Finally after a week and a half of searching haha I got a job! I will be cashiering for Best Buy getting 11 dollars and hour and working part time. I was hoping to be getting a dental assisting job but since there is no dental offices near by and I don't have a car, I will have to wait on that. Bren want's to get me a motor scooter so maybe I will search after that is if I get that. This is Brennan's last day in FTAK, he got all his financial stuff taking care of, now it's just a matter of when it will go through, these things can take a while. Least I have my job to back us up. Best Buy is kinda far from here but not to far to ride a bike. Brennan thinks I will start complaining after the first time I ride there, he thinks I will start wanting that car. Haha! Which is probably true, knowing me I will hate it after the first try, but I can't hate it, we have no choice my job is closer to the house and on a plus side this could be considered a work out. Right? Except I did tell Brennan when it rains he has to let me have the car. There is no way I am riding a bike in the rain....cause in Florida it's not rain without thunder. I've noticed that a lot here. AND TRUST ME WHEN IT RAINS IT POURS HERE!. I will post a pic of when it rained a couple of weeks ago. Oh last Wednesday I dropped Brennan off at work and on my way home to Destin I saw the most BEAUTIFUL sunset! Luckily I had my phone to snap a pic. The drive to Destin is so beautiful! We are just surrounded by white sand the ocean! I love it! I sure do miss home though. I love and miss you all! I will keep in touch! I start work tomorrow and I'll let ya know how it goes! xoxo

August 10!

Yay! We finally get our stuff! They pick up our stuff July 28 and from what the document said it will be here August 10, Brennan thinks it will be here sooner, I hope so. Today Brennan started FTAC (Bren corrected me). It means something but I don't get the military and there abbreviations. Hopefully our financial stuff gets taken care of soon! It's depressing being poor lol. I want to shop!!! I just can't wait to get our furniture!! I hate air mattresses. I had a dream last night this really nasty yellowish spider was on me and he looked about 2 inches wide 2 inches long! I tried to find a picture of what it looked like and this is the closest I got! Whenever I have dreams that I can remember I also try and look up there meanings. www.dreammoods.com or www.dreamforth.com are the websites I try. I looked up spiders in the dream dictionary and apparently it means I feel like an outsider, it also means powerful women or something. I agree with the outsider thing. I'm still having a hard time finding a job. I need a job close by, that I can ride a bike to. Bren and I were thinking once we have more money I can get a cheep moter scooter and that will give me somewhere farther to search. Fingers crossed I find something close! Last night Bren and I watched "Revolutionary Road" it stars Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio, IT WAS AN AWESOME MOVIE. It's so sad, but very good, everyone should see it! Anyway I'm gonna clean up this house. We got new carpet when we moved in but now it starts to make little carpet balls but that's common with new carpet from what Bren says. We don't have a vacuum which sucks, but this weekend Bren tried sweeping it into the kitchen and it actually worked! all the little fuzzy balls got off the carpet easily with the broom. When my family lived in a basement home our vacuum broke and we would have to use the broom to sweep up the carpet floor...haha I guess I just had to think back to our old cleaning skills lol.

Hello, this is my first blog entry... ever. and probably my last. I will begin this by telling you about my day. it began at 630 this morning while i gracefully rolled out of bed trying not to get light heading standing up from that extremely uncomfortable air mattress. i began with putting my socks on, one foot at a time, then moving towards the pants. after that i put on my shirt, bloused my pants and put on my boots (which gave a blister today. stupid boots). After i got completely ready for work i head out to the base and blah blah blah I had a very boring day but a great lunch. much love to taco bell :). Right now we are figuring out what to do. I was thinking the beach, Lacey was thinking about walking around a craft store for five hours. Tough decision. Alright I'm done writing, i gotta dominate the toilet.

Nothing New....

Brennan started training today, he will do that for the rest of the week, then starting Monday he does what's called FTECH (not sure how it's spelled) meaning he does his in-processing. That will go on for a week then he goes back to training for another month. During his in-processing he will get his financial stuff taking care of like his BAH, pay, travel reimbursements and I'm hoping we see the money soon cause we can barely make rent with just his pay check which leaves us penny-less for bills and food :/ Man the military sure promises you a lot of stuff and then they take forever to show that they stick to there word! It's stressful! I have been going around to shops and stores that are walking distance to our apartment to see if I can get something part-time until all are finances are caught up. Too bad there isn't a dental office near by, I sure would love to start dental assisting. It's hard cause Bren and I wont know his actual hours till after his month worth of training so I'm not sure on what hours I can work. One car! Brennan got the crap beat out of him today during asp/baton training. Two of his trainers get to wear padded clothing and hit Brennan while he uses a padded asp and try and block them away. He ended up with a major headache and his eye hurt from being punched in the head. But apparently some Airman have had it worse. Today I didn't do much. There is this decoration shop called Kirklands and Old Time Pottery, I swear keep me in there for more than 15 minutes and I will have the whole store in my shopping cart! I bought a coupon divider and this huge picture frame! I get so home sick! Bren said we will probably be here for 3 years! :'''( I can't be away from my mom that long! This is a picture Bren took with his laptop tonight. Notice the zit on my face....that's an emotional zit cause I miss my family! lol

First Post Yay!

Greetings from Destin, Florida! It's been a week now since we have been here and it's been a roller coaster! There is still so much Brennan needs to do to make sure all of our financial stuff gets taken care of. I'm trying my hardest to not yell at the rude people in the finance office on base. Lately nothing has happened with us, Brennan is on temporary leave for 8 days to find an apartment, which we have had for 5 days now, but his supervisor told him just to come back on the last day! SWEET! It's hard being in an unfurnished house and we most likely wont get our furniture for another month. It's a pain yes, but I convinced him we needed bar stools now cause we can sit of the floor for a month until our dining room table and chairs come. I can't wait to decorate it's killing me! We found out that a couple of Brennan's friends from boot camp and tech school got stationed here in Eglin as well and they all have wives! Two I have met so far and are really nice. The beach here is beautiful!!! I was telling my mom about these beautiful oat looking plants that just wave in the breeze and they are right on the ocean. She told me they are called Sea Oats or something like that and they are endangered....which explains why they are blocked off and no one and get in..oh and not to mention there is a sign that say "Keep Off Endangered Species". I will keep in touch and post as much as I can!
