Update!

Yes it has been quite some time since I have updated my blog. I have been working over 30 hours at work which has caused me and Brennan's schedule to completely over lap each other. It's been upsetting not having to spend some time together. So we decided I would decrease my schedule to just 20-25 hours. That way on the days off I can spend the day with Brennan. What's happened since the last time I blogged? Well my birthday was awesome! My momma sent me a package full of goodies and presents which was really nice! I got cards from Grandma Persing, Darla, & Grandma Rugg. Brennan took me out to dinner and shopping at this outside shopping center (like the Gateway) called Destin Commons, it's pretty at night cause it has a ton of palm trees and light and a pretty fountain! I loved it! Brennan started this program at work called Crav Magraw (spelling may be off) for the next month he is working Monday - Friday 6am -3pm doing self-dense techniques. It's nice only I have to ride my bike to work, he can still pick me up at night and after work but I guess I'm just lazy. It's a nice forced work out though. Mark and Darla come this weekend. We're excited. I bought a carpet steamer and finally put it to work yesterday and today. I'm so happy at how clean my carpet is, no more puppy pee! haha I never thought I would see the day I would be happy to have clean carpets. Friday- Wednesday I have off for Mark and Darla's Visit. They come in on Saturday, so I plan on cleaning the whole house Friday. We FINALLY GOT A RUG to cover that lovely popsicle stain Brennan left and a pretty frame for the wall. Charlie is good. He has his moments were he is good at goes to the bathroom on the pad and then there is times he just does it on the carpet to get attention and to be brat. He is our baby though! He loves stealing the spotlight in all my pictures I take of the house ahah!

Our new home and Puppy!

The movers finally came! We set up all our stuff that day. It was a days project and boy was I tired at the end of the day! That Saturday we drove to Raiford, located on the very far East of Florida. It was a 4-5 hour drive both ways, in which I drove. The reason why I drove is because Brennan come home from work Saturday at 6am and then we had to leave an hour later at 7, so by the time we came back he would only have 3 and half hours to sleep until he would head to work again. So I made sure he slept in the car. I hate driving. It reminded me how much of a pain it was getting to Florida. Anyways, we got our Charlie, he is an angel. Brennan and I find it odd though that he is very needy. He follows us around everywhere, has to sleep in bed with us, and he cries when we leave the room. It's so cute though when your laying with him he will rest his head on your neck or shoulder and sleep. I never thought a puppy could be this love able, he is constantly loving on us. We gonna go out to the movies on Saturday, we terrified the neighbors are gonna get mad at us cause of how loud Charlie will be. Wish us luck! I'm not feeling good right, first I thought it was allergies, but now after last night, I think it's a really bad cold!. I can't breath through my nose, I have an ichy feeling in the back of my throat and nose and I have really bad head congestion, it's like a headache! Oh not to mention Charlie wakes up two times a night to go to the bathroom. He's a good one though!

Puppies and Potato soup!

Brennan just started his 9 pm to 6 am work schedule. He sleeps until about 3 pm which gives me the day to clean, go to work, and/or shopping. I don't like sleeping alone at night it's scary! Which brings me to our new news! We're getting a puppy! A little beagle named Charlie! We will having him about the 15th of August! we are so excited! Brennan needs a companion to run with him and be active cause heaven knows I wont haha! And I just wont to smoosh him cause he's so cute. I was a little bit worried that since we're in an apartment it would be difficult for Charlie to be active, but since I work in the day (part time) and he works at night, there will always be someone with him. Next Saturday we take a 4 and half hour drive to a city called Raiford were a family runs a beagle breading business. He will but up to date with check ups and shots and will only be 400 for him! I'm soo happy! We finally set up our cable! No more boring days of doing nothing! And on Monday our movers come! I can't wait to put everything together! Today I will try to master my mom's famous Potato Soup! Filled with ham, celery, potatoes, onions, bacon, and topped with shredded cheese and rolls! YUMMY wish me luck!!

Work, work and more work!

That basically sums it up for what we have been doing the past week. I finally started working the cash register at my work and much to everyone's dismay, it's exactly the same method as Bed Bath and Beyond. From scanning to orders online. My supervisor is shocked that I know all this but hey that's a plus on there end. I just hope they don't take advantage of my knowledge and put me in retail. I hate to say this but about 60% of Best Buy Shoppers are jerks! I got nothing but rude customers yesterday. Brennan doesn't know but I'm gonna try and persuade him to let me quite right before holiday season so I can see my family...seriously what retail company is gonna let me go home for a week on THANKSGIVING WEEK....BLACK FRIDAY!!?? Yeah and after the holidays I will find another job....that probably looks bad on my resume. Oh well. I figure I pay off all my bills and loans till then. Anyways GOOD NEWS, Bren got our financials all situated and apparently our back pay for BAH & BAS for when we got married will be on this upcoming pay check and not only that but our reimbursements will go through too! Pretty big pay check, Brennan wants a puppy, but I say we figure out bills and loans first and see were we are after that. Oh Funny yet irritating story for ya...yesterday Brennan got a red otter pop out to eat and well apparently the Otter Pop got too cold for him (imagine that an otter pop!) so he put it down on our bed slightly up so it would spill. Well he forgot it was there and when came time for lunch he just right up. After eating, while washing dishes I noticed this huge red stain in the floor. Yeah let's just say Brennan now has to eat all popsicles in the kitchen. Sometimes I feel like I married a five year old lol a cute one though. He eats things off the floor so I guess I feel like I married a pet too...lol. Anyways we are now buying a big rug to put in our living to cover up the beautiful pink spot. Why men can fool their wives hehehe

Well I started my job last Saturday, it's a lot to pick up on, but I will get it soon. There are some things about it that frustrate me, like one you can never really find a manager around, your not sure who your supervisor is, they don't schedule a lunch for you, you just have to take it when you find coverage, and three they are taking forever to get me my employee ID so I'm hoping the hours I spent training shows up on my first check. It's frustrating, I have a feeling they are gonna put me up at Customer Service, they put everyone else at the cash registers but me, I hate customer service, but hey that's what I get for having Supervisor experience in retail. It's good money until I get a Dental Assisting job. Bren has been doing good, he has been continuing his training for his job. Yesterday we needed to cash a check and we couldn't cash it anywhere so we decided to open a savings account with Eglin Credit Union it's only 5 dollars to open a savings account so we though we mind as well while we were there. Brennan's Airman friends mastermind a stupid plan that back fired on them. They said that it's Military Appreciation week and that they get free pizza, so they told Me and Katie (one of the airman's wife) to stay home while they got get pizza and bring it back, which made no sense to me cause I could have sworn I heard one of them say it was for Military and Family. So we called the pizza place when they left and found out it's a pizza buffet and bar. So while they were having fun eating pizza and drinking beer, I had to stay with Katie and her one year old child who is cranky and crying cause his is teething! We were so made at the guys!! So we went to Wendy's and had no problem ordering us whatever we wanted, and BOY WAS I HUNGRY. Bren claims he didn't know, he though it was a pizza joint for family too. Brennan knows I have a good way of putting things together and finding out the truth, but I believe Bren, he is always asking his guy friends if I can come along. Bren's two friends thought we wouldn't know what they were doing but we caught them 2 minutes after they left hahaha! Never underestimate a girl, especially if she's your wife! Oh and funny thing, it really made me crack up laughing, we called the guys told them that we were heading to Wendys and they said that was fine, so when they came home last night THEY BROUGH US A SLICE OF PIZZA! hahah like that was gonna make it better, we told them we were going to get something to eat. I couldn't be mad, this was just to funny of a story to get mad at them at. I told the guys if they wanted a guy night to just tell me, I wouldn't care, but I guess they didn't cause Katie would have been mad. I'm not her! Brennan said that next time he is bringing me, cause I'm fun to hang around, I know how to act like one of the guys. Well when you grow up with five brothers what else do you expect. We went to beach last Friday, pretty huh!? It's better to go towards the end of the day, it's cool, the water is warm, PERFECTION!
